The Catatonk Valley Woodcarvers present the nineteenth annual Catatonk Valley Woodcarving Show and sale on October 10th and 11th the show will run from 10:00 till 5:00 each day in the Candor fire station located on Rt. 96b just north of Candor. There will be a wide variety of high quality wood carvings on display by many award winning local artisans. There will be ongoing demonstrations on carving techniques, burning and painting on both days and expert advice for the beginner. A variety of woodcarving tools will also be available for sale by our vendor and the firemen’s auxiliary will be providing food and beverages. Our featured fund raiser raffle item this year will be a Santa tree and a custom box of hand carved Christmas ornaments. There is ample parking with handicapped access and the show is free to the public.
