W. F. Hopkins
featured artist

W.F. Hopkins is a superb artist whose work resonates with a profound love and respect for the Empire State and the nature that surrounds us.
Over the past year, Hopkins has turned some of his talented attention to the New York State canal system and the Finger Lakes region.
The results are an amazingly realistic and captivating series of historical oils, including a broad panorama of a 19th century scene of downtown Syracuse and a series of historic lake scenes.
His devotion to New York State history and his intensive research into his subject matter make it possible for him to paint from a realistic perspective.
A New York State native, he is currently the only living artist in the state to work
in this type of historical format.

U.S. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton with W.F. Hopkins and Carolyn
Hopkins as they view Hopkins' recent commission by Pleasant Valley Wine
Company during the Senator's August visit to Keuka Moon Gallery in Historic
Hammondsport. The Senator was a guest of the Hopkins and the visit included
a tour of the Village and a special luncheon with members of the community.
Several of the included luncheon guests were local artists, musicians,
filmmakers, and entrepreneurs.
